Please stay asleep through the night

I have a problem. My 15 month old son still wakes up during the night. He went through a good patch around 11 months where he slept through the night. and since then hes been waking up. Its not always at the same time every night.
We also have a 4 month old daughter as well and they both sleep in the same room...... until she wakes for a feed, then i bring her into our bed, and then he will wake up at some time and we bring him into ours.
Both my kids are very restless sleepers. What can i do to get my son to sleep through the night.

Hi there, it is really hard
Hi there, it is really hard when they change their routine! I also have a 15 month old and every night is different with her, I never know what I am going to get. She either sleeps right through or wakes several times a night and needs to be resettled by me. My son is 4 years old and is a great sleeper and is never disturbed by her waking - they are however in seperate rooms. Have you considered having your daughter room in with you while you are still feeding, it may help reduce the waking of your son if he is not disturbed. I have just learned to stick with basics with my daughter, I refuse to pick her up if she wakes, I never bring her in to our bed and if she does need resettling I give her a few pats to calm the crying and then stop to let her try and resettle herself. I now find I am only in her room for 1 min at the most instead of 1/2 hr! I think when they get close to 18 months seperation problems kick in and most kids will be a bit unsettled at night - I just think to myself,'tomorrow is another day' and they do grow out of it eventually! Good luck
